(Editor’s note: The 2022 winner, The People’s Champ, has penned some words of wisdom as we kick off the 2023 season. His message is below.)

Dear FMFL Family,

You all know me. Know what I’m about. So I’ll keep this short and sweet.

I’m the People’s Champion and I win championships. Three titles in three different decades.

I am the Alpha and Omega, the first champ and the most recent champ, so here is some advice for the league. The all-time money list is for losers. It’s not about the money or the meaningless all-time standings. The only true source of happiness anyone of us will ever feel is when we etch our name into that championship plaque.

When you look back on your life you won’t remember your worthless divisional victory or your third-place playoff finish, so this season go big and bet to win it all. Keep your eyes on the ultimate prize and best of luck!
