Commentary: The only real movement in the standings was Bayonnaise slipping from second to last in the North Division. Mr. Marbles increased his first place lead in the North, while things tightened up in the East with the top three franchises within $200. And Rick Moranis got off the schnide, sort of, when his bet on the Jets was a push! That’s the first non-loss of the season for him, but he did lose his other two games, running his season win-loss-tie record to 0-8-1.

Commentary: Yikes. Good thing this is fake money. The league went a collective -$4300 this week with eight franchises losing all their bets. The big winners were Blossom Russo and Gordon Bombay, the only two franchises that were positive for the week (each won $100), pulling Blossom Russo into a tie for the East Division lead and giving Gordon Bombay the outright lead in the West. The big losers were the North Division, with not one single pick correct by any franchise. And Rick Moranis, yikes.

Commentary – A week of conservative betting, the big losers were Rick Moranis, who has put out a personal vendetta on Don Mattingly citing short jokes Don Mattingly made at Rick Moranis’ expense in their freshman year of high school in 1998, and Mr. DeBlasis, who for some reason bet the Browns last week. A half-point spread in the final game of the week between San Fran – Arizona, prevented Mr. Marbles from joining Karl Farbman as the only franchises with a perfect Week 1. Bayonnaise joins Mr. Marbles for a first place tie in the North Division, but did make money off of New England (cheaters).
