Divisional Playoff Weekend Standings

by The Executive Director

Commentary: Everybody and their mother (sans Karl Farbman) bet Baltimore in the first week of the playoffs, and as a result, all but two franchises are in the positive after the wild card games. Kiko Garcia won each of its three-teamer, while Babe and Larisa Oleynik had perfect weeks as well. The Beard of Zeus, fresh of his overall regular season title, made a time-zone gaffe that cost him $100 in fines, so he ended the week at $200. Boss Hardigan, Mr. Marbles, and Ron Mexico all ended up with $100, while Bayonnaise and Karl Farbman are at -$100 bringing up the rear, but by no means out of contention.

As we hit the second week of the playoffs, there is another four-game slate to bet on. For the three franchises tied for first, it’s a matter of keeping up with the pace. For everyone else, it’s a game of catch-up. No franchise lost $500 on wild card weekend, but such a loss this week might mean the end for any franchise.

Babe $500
Kiko Garcia $500
Larisa Oleynik $500
The Beard of Zeus $200
Mr. Marbles $100
Boss Hardigan $100
Ron Mexico $100
Bayonnaise -$100
Karl Farbman -$100
