Commentary: Yaz was the only franchise to win $500 in the second week, as his bet on San Francisco paid off. A New England cover in the final game of the weekend helped Bayonnaise and The 21th Precinct stay tied for the lead, with Face and Blossom hanging around as well. Will Cover and Bud Fox dropped $500, and have an uphill battle with only a few games to go. Of the top five franchises right now, whoever can go 2-for-2 in the Conference Championship games will be the catbird’s seat heading into the Super Bowl.
